Our campus occupies a 30,000-square-foot, hundred-year-old Masonic temple in the heart of Fredericktowne, a vibrant, artistic, 50-block historic district. Original wood floors, exposed brick walls, and twenty-foot ceilings combine with state-of-the-art equipment, hand-blown light fixtures, and original murals by local artists to create a modern classroom environment.
Bustling with specialty shops, restaurants, cultural offerings, and a never-ending string of weekend events, Frederick is the place to be. The annual “In the Street” celebration fills nine city blocks with art, music, and food. Local merchants host evening art-related events as part of the monthly First Saturday Gallery Walk. You can celebrate the performing arts at the Weinberg Center for the Arts, take in an open-air concert at the Baker Park Band shell, or listen to live music at the Market Street nightspots, popular with the college crowd.
Surrounded by lush mountains and parks, Frederick offers miles of hiking and biking trails plus whitewater rafting and other activities. For big-city fun, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. are less than an hour away.
